DOT supports the Ministry of Transportation and Communications’ new version of car and motorcycle road test grading sheets, completes relevant prep work and implements the policy as scheduled.

The 2011 occupational hazards health checks for taxicab drivers are conducted, attracting 1,820 participants.


DOT conducts traffic patrols around the 2011 Calla Lily Festival by Zhuzihu (March 11 – April 24), and implements 7 flower season shuttle buses on holidays and weekend during the event period.

In support of the Tomb Sweeping Festival, 5 free tomb-sweeping shuttle buses are launched for service on March 19, 20, 26, 27 and April 2, 3, 4, and 5.


The online license plate number selection system launched by Motor Vehicles Office in Taipei City is recognized for Performance Excellence in public application and public convenience innovation in the 2010 Outstanding Certificate of Authority of the Ministry of Interior (MOICA) Applications Award. The award ceremony is staged in the GIS NTU Convention Center; the system is also displayed there.


The 2011 Taipei Joint Bus System Travel Safety and Service Quality Demonstration Seminar is organized.


Google Maps version of Parking Information System is launched.
