01 Family Mart signs on to provide agency collection of motor vehicle and motorcycle driving permit and driver’s license replacement fees. Huanhe Expressway car park (under the expressway) is open to public use. “The 2009 Children’s Blue Highway Fun Camp” is held. “The 2008 Taipei Joint Bus System Quality Inspection and Review” has been completed.
03 The first Taxi Driver Japanese Conversation Class for 2009 takes place. Classes are held on April 3rd, 7th, 10th, 14th, 20th, 21st, and 24th. A total of 16 trainees complete their lessons.
09 The conference on the 2009 Taipei International Car Free Day has been organized. The Nangang Trade Park Follow-up Traffic Monitoring Systems Expansion has been launched.
15 The Taipei City Southeast Lions Club donates a Rehab Bus to city government.
16 Community parking management systems has been introduced in the Cathay No. 2 Minsheng Commercial Building in Zhongshan District, Shongshan Huacheng Community in Songshan District, and the NTU Imperial Garden Community in Wenshan District. The system, allows these communities to conduct self-maintenance on car park. Gongguan Riverside Temporary Motorcycle parking is now open to public use. Low-floor buses for No. 220 New Zhongshan Main Line (from Tianmu to Hengyang Road), No. 902 New Dunhua Line Hall (from Taipei Veterans General Hospital to Wanfeng Community) and No. 72 New Songjiang Main Line (from Dazhi to MRT Linguan Station) under the Taipei Joint Bus System have been unveiled to the public.
24 The first Taxi Driver Japanese Proficiency Test 2009 is held. A total of 12 trainees pass the proficiency test.
28 A built-in service counter has been established in the Wanhua Administration Center. The hours are: 10:00am – 16:00pm on Tuesday. The counter provides driver’s license, driving permit replacements and license reissuance, plus address update service.
