How should I pay if I am unable to complete my ticket payment at designated collection points in Taipei City and my parking ticket, parking ticket payment reminder or parking ticket payment collection notice are all past due?

Answer:
1.Starting October 1, 2010, PMA has offered a grace period (7 days after the due date) for the parking ticket, and you can still pay at all PMA authorized public parking lots (addresses can be searched on the PMA website (http://www.pma.gov.taipei (Chinese)), service centers (1F, No. 300, Songde Road, Xinyi District, Taipei City), Traffic Adjudication Office, Taipei City Government (7F, Shuiyuan building; address: No. 92, Sec. 4, Roosevelt Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City), four major convenient store chains (7-ELEVEN, Hi-Life, Taiwan FamilyMart, or OK Mart), financial institutions (Mega International Commercial Bank, Ta Chong Bank, Keelung First Credit Cooperative, and cooperatives) or collection points such as CPC gas stations in Taipei City or New Taipei City.

2.If you have not completed your ticket payment before the end of the grace period, starting the 7th day past due, the PMA will mail you a parking ticket payment reminder (based on the address on your vehicle license as registered at the Department of Motor Vehicles, and a handling fee of NTD$50 will be charged). You can pay with your ticket at four major convenient store chains (7-ELEVEN, Hi-Life, Taiwan FamilyMart, or OK Mart), CPC gas stations in Taipei City or New Taipei City, a PMA authorized public 3D and underground parking lots, service centers (1F, No. 300, Songde Road, Xinyi District, Taipei City), or Traffic Adjudication Office, Taipei City Government (7F, Shuiyuan building; address: No. 92, Sec. 4, Roosevelt Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City).

3.If you have not completed your payment before the due date of the parking ticket payment reminder, the PMA will mail a parking ticket and parking ticket payment collection note to you. After you receive them, you can make payments with both the collection note and ticket at convenient store chains, or call the PMA citizen service hotline (2726-9600#9) and a dedicated staff member will assist you with all the payment methods and related procedures.

4.If you have not completed your payment before the due date of the parking ticket payment collection note, please pay the NTD$300 fine at the Department of Motor Vehicles in the city or county your vehicle is registered and the parking ticket payment at the PMA authorized public 3D and underground parking lots (the address can be searched on the PMA website, http://www.pma.gov.taipei (Chinese)), service centers (1F, No. 300, Songde Road, Xinyi District, Taipei City), Traffic Adjudication Office, Taipei City Government (7F, Shuiyuan building; address: No. 92, Sec. 4, Roosevelt Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City), or call the PMA service hotline (2726-9600#9) and a dedicated staff member will assist you with all the payment methods and related procedures.

5.To avoid overdue payments, the PMA provides an online overdue reminder service. Please register your vehicle and your contact method at the parking ticket payment search system on the PMA website (http://www.pma.gov.taipei (Chinese)). After successful registration, the system will notify you about payments and send an overdue reminder two day prior to the due day. This service is free, and everyone is encouraged to use it.
