1st
Registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt would be sent to persons owing parking fee (calculated weekly) in Taipei City as a reminder. A NTD 50 processing fee would be charged.
“For the Disabled Parking Only” signs, service bells for the disabled and parking detectors were set up at parking facilities at Chengde Park, Zhongxin Park and Xinyi Elementary School as a trial. Security guards were there to offer assistance to motor vehicle owners. Due to successful trial results, the implementation was further extended to public off-road parking facilities governed by Taipei City Parking Management and Development Office.

9th
A pedestrian scramble was implemented at the intersection of Lane 518, Sec.1, Neihu Road and Zhouzi Street.

11th
Three additional public bike rental stations were set up at the intersection of Jianguo Road and Nongan Road to provide rental services.

15th
The trial turnabout on the east side of the intersection of Xinhai Road and Keelung Road in Taipei City was closed.

17th
The new webpage for 5284 Taipei e-bus System was online.

22nd
Two additional public bike rental stations were set up at the Taipei Public Library (the main library) to provide rental services.

23rd
Taipei Metropolitan Intra-city and Highway Bus Route Review Committee convened the 54th committee meeting.

25th
Bimonthly passes for public parking facilities were implemented as a trial.
Traffic control planning and restoration were implemented during the Taipei Lunar New Year Festival (from this date until February 8th).

26th
The 2012 Bus Courtesy Campaign Award Ceremony was held to recognize 130 outstanding drivers in Taipei City.

31st
Planning of guiding logos for Tayou, Guanshan, Guiyang and Huajiang bike lanes along Taipei’s scenic waterfront corridors was completed.
