Taipei City Bus Route Guide Leaflets, the 2nd Edition, Are Now Available
The “Taipei City Bus Route Guide” leaflets have been very popular since it was published in April 2013 and became available for the public at 12 tourist service centers and railway stations in Taipei City. The Taipei Public Transportation Office (hereafter refers to as the Office) has once again worked with bus companies on publication of the second edition of the bus route guide.
A total of 30000 Taipei City Bus Route Guide leaflets, 2nd edition, were produced by the Taipei City Bus Management Committee. The leaflets were in priority released to the public at 12 tourist service centers, Taipei Bus Station, railway stations (Songshan Railway Station and Nankang Railway Station), information counter of Taipei City Hall 1F and the Office on August 27. In September, people can also get the leaflets at MRT transfer stations (a total of 20 stations).
According to the Office, the 2nd edition guide was revised and modified based on public feedback at the meetings with 14 bus companies. The new guide was intended to provide passengers “directional” information. For some regions, only relevant position information can be provided due to leaflet space limit. The Office welcomes Taipei City citizens and national tourists to make use of the new guide and provide feedback. Further revision and modification can be made for the next edition based on your feedback so the guide will be more complete and able to provide useful information. New additions in the 2nd edition guide include the Beitou Zhuzihu Route recommended on the Taiwan Trip website (Bus Xiao 9) and 7 Blue Road Trip routes that can be found by searching with QR Code. The new guide provides both land and river travel information to Taipei City citizens.
The Office stressed that the bus route guide will be also available in English and Japanese, in addition to the Chinese version, for foreign tourists. The Office hopes that the bus route guide will be accessible in different ways so tourists will enjoy traveling in Taipei City at ease.
