Lane 25, Yucheng Street converted to one-way as of August 4,2015, following changes to traffic control facilities

Lane 25, Yucheng Street of Nangang District, Taipei City (hereinafter referred to as “the Lane”), was formerly a two-way road (east-west bidirectional). In response to local residents’ requirements, it was recommended to be converted into a one-way road (eastbound direction) to facilitate entry and exit. Taipei City Traffic Engineering Office (TEO) hence delegated Nangang District Office to carry out a survey; the results showed that the majority of residents are in favor of changing the Lane into a one-way road. Respecting the residents’ opinions, the TEO will change the Lane from an east-west bidirectional road into an eastbound one-way road, and make changes to relevant control facilities accordingly.
The TEO mentioned that regarding the traffic direction adjustment, changes to relevant traffic control facilities for converting the traffic direction are scheduled to be completed by August 4, 2015. The TEO appeals to drivers to abide by traffic rules and follow the traffic direction to maintain the smooth-flow and safety of the Lane.
