Unnamed lane beside No. 157, Tayou Road converted to two-way as of July 20, 2015 (Monday)
An unnamed lane beside No. 157, Tayou Street in Songshan District, Taipei City (hereinafter referred to as “the Lane”) was formerly a westbound one-way road. In response to local residents’ requirements, it was recommended to be converted into a two-way road to facilitate entry and exit. Taipei City Traffic Engineering Office (TEO) delegated Songshan District Office to carry out a survey; the results show that the majority of residents are in favor of converting the westbound one-way lane to a two-way road.
The TEO mentioned that changes will be made to relevant control facilities accordingly, and that traffic direction adjustment shall be implemented following the completion of traffic control facilities by July 20, 2015. The TEO appeals to drivers to abide by relevant controls and not park their vehicles in the Lane, to ensure the smooth-flowing and safety of traffic.
