Since the implementation of two-days off per week in 1998, Taipei City Government has been planning tour bus routes to increase the accessibility of recreational attractions to the public during weekends. Currently, tour buses 108, 109, 111, 128 and 129 are serving tourists travelling to Yangmingshan. However, except for tour bus 108, the other four buses only stop at certain bus stops.
As tourism is getting more popular, tourists have the need to board and alight at each bus stop in the Yangmingshan region where beautiful scenery can be found throughout the entire Yangmingshan region. In response to such demand, bus routes will be adjusted such that tour buses will stop at all bus stops in the Yangmingshan region. This will apply for tour buses 109 and 111 for northbound stops from Taibei High School stop onwards; for bus 128, northbound stops from Fude Temple (Shipai) stop onwards; and for bus 129, and northbound stops from Xinbeitou stop onwards. Citizens are welcome to make full use of the service.
