"Lane 28, Hougang Street, Shilin District" Changes to One-Way Traffic as of July 14, 2017 after Adjustment of Traffic Control Devices

Lane 28, Hougang Street in Shilin District, Taipei City (from Hougang Street to Section 4, Chengde Road) is an east-to-west one-way street. In response to the local residents' demands and suggestion to change to a west-to-east one-way street, Taipei City Traffic Engineering Office (TEO) commissioned the Shilin District Office to conduct a survey. The results showed that a majority of the residents agree to the switch. Respecting the general consensus, TEO will change the said street to a west-to-east one-way street with adjustment of relevant control devices.
TEO indicated that the traffic adjustment will come into effect on July 14, 2017 after traffic control devices have been adjusted. TEO urges road users to follow the traffic signs and road markings to ensure smooth traffic flow and safety.
