　　Taipei City Smooth Traffic Team has organized and summarized the events and construction projects that are expected to affect traffic in the next four weeks (from Nov. 20th, 2023 to Dec. 17th, 2023), reminding road users to respond in advance and suggesting the public to take advantage of the MRT, buses, and YouBike, making it easy to travel, while, at the same time, reduce carbon emissions.

　　Events: “Q Square” Anniversary Event is held at Q Square from Nov. 22nd, 2023 (Wed) to Dec. 3rd, 2023 (Sun); “2023 Shilin Residence Chrysanthemum Festival” is held at Shilin Residence from Nov. 24th, 2023 (Fri), to Dec. 10th, 2023 (Sun); there will be traffic control at Sec. 2, Guiyang St. due to “2023 Roar Now Bangkah” on Nov. 25th, 2023 (Sat); “Pilgrimage and Blessing Event for the 270th Anniversary of the Founding of Songshan Ciyou Temple” is held at Songshan Ciyou Temple on Nov. 26th, 2023 (Sun); “Taiwan-Japan Cultural Festival at Qingshan Temple” is held at Bangka Qingshan Temple on Nov. 26th, 2023 (Sun); “Qingshan Festival <Perfect Blessing TIme> Feast of Fireworks and Art with Music and Drones” is held at Shuangyuan Riverside Park on Nov. 26th, 2023 (Sun); “Pacific SOGO Tianmu Branch” Anniversary Event is held at Pacific SOGO Tianmu Branch from Nov. 29th, 2023 (Wed) to Dec. 10th, 2023 (Sun); “Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taipei Station Branch” 30th Anniversary Event is held at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taipei Station Branch from Nov. 30th, 2023 (Thu) to Dec. 17th, 2023 (Sun); “2023 Taiwan Fund for Children and Families Taipei Branch [Collecting Love for Happiness] Year-end Salesian Conference” is held at National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Central Plaza on Dec. 3rd, 2023 (Sun); there will be traffic control at Ren’ai Rd., Jinshan S. Rd., Xinsheng Expressway, Bei’an Rd., Mingshui Rd., and Lequn 1st Rd., etc., due to “2023 Taiwan Run For Change” on Dec. 3rd, 2023 (Sun); “2023 The 30th Asian Baseball Championship” is held at Taipei Dome Stadium from Dec. 3rd, 2023 (Sun) to Dec. 10th, 2023 (Sun); “Birthday Pilgrimage of King Ling'an of Bangka Qingshan Temple” is held at Bangka Qingshan Temple on Dec. 4th, 2023 (Mon); “2023 Ultra Taiwan” is held at Dajia Riverside Park on Dec. 8th, 2023 (Fri) and Dec. 9th, 2023 (Sat); there will be traffic control at Ren’ai Rd. (from Civic Square to Ren’ai Roundabout) due to “2023 Taipei Marathon Breakfast Run” on Dec. 16th, 2023 (Sat); there will be traffic control at Ren’ai Rd., Aiguo E. Rd., Aiguo W. Rd., Zhonghua Rd., Ketagalan Blvd., Zhongshan N. Rd., Zhongshan S. Rd., Tiding Blvd., Nanjing E. Rd., and Huandong Expressway; we suggest vehicles to avoid these locations during these dates and participants to take the public transportation there.

　　Construction Projects: Construction project of joint pedestrian underpass at Changde St., renovation project of the upper structure of Minquan Bridge in Songshan Dist. and Neihu Dist., renovation project of Zhongzheng Bridge at Sec. 3, Chongqing S. Rd., construction project of connecting skybridge at (Ln. 105- Ln. 157), Jingmao 2nd Rd., and MRT construction project at Zhongzheng Dist. and Wanhua Dist. (Roosevelt Rd., Nanhai Rd., Nanchang Rd., Xizang Rd., and Wanda Rd.), Wenshan Dist. (Sec. 2, Xinguang Rd., [in front of MRT Taipei Zoo]), and Xinyi Dist. (Sec. 6, Xinyi Rd., Fude St., Zhongpo S. Rd.). As a special reminder to the public, due to the construction of MRT Wanda Line, some of the lanes of Nanhai Rd., Xizang Rd., and Wanda Rd. will be closed off, and Nanchang Rd. from the intersection of Ningbo W. St. to the intersection of Nanhai Rd. will be a one-way road going from south to north. For the vehicles going from north to south, please make a detour through Guling St. and Ningbo W. St. For those that travel between Wanhua and Zhonghe or Yonghe, please take advantage of Aiguo W. Rd., Heping W. Rd., and nearby bridges as alternative routes. Details of the names, locations (road sections), and time of the events and construction projects held in the next four weeks are in the attached file.

　　The Department of Transportation asks the public to take advantage of the green transportation by either taking public transportation, riding bicycles, or walking. They can even participate in the “My Carbon Reduction Passbook - Monthly Draw for Air Tickets.” We also recommend using the TPASS between Keelung, Taipei, New Taipei, and Taoyuan. Not only is it a good transportation deal, the trouble of traffic jams can also be avoided. For those who still need to drive on their own, we recommend avoiding the locations and times of events and construction projects, or make detours in advance to avoid travel delays. When driving through the location of an event, please follow the road signs and the instructions of the police or traffic auxiliary police, drive carefully, and when the parking lot is full, please do not occupy the road while waiting to enter the parking lot.
