MRT or Bus Instead of Driving" and Enjoy Fare Subsidies

The Yomiuri Giants Exhibition Game will be held at 5pm on March 2 and 3, Taipei Dome, Taiwan. The Taipei City Government’s Department of Transportation encourages fans to use public transportation such as the MRT and buses instead of driving since the MRT Blue Line, Bus Route 16 and Free Shuttle Bus 6 are available. MRT passengers will also enjoy a NTD$20 fare subsidy so as to promote energy conservation and reduce carbon emissions.

Direct Access to Taipei Dome via MRT Blue Line, Bus Route 16, and Shuttle Bus 6. Visitors from Outside Taipei City Can Also Reach Venue via Train/HSR, and then Transferring to MRT, Shuttle Buses, and Public Buses

Taipei Dome is conveniently located near the MRT Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall Station. Fans can take the MRT Blue Line (Bannan Line) to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station, and walk directly to the Taipei Dome from Exit 5. MRT train frequency will increase after game hours. Additionally, a pedestrian underground passage from MRT Exit 4 of the MRT station to the Taipei Dome will be open from 2pm to 10pm daily during the games. For outfield spectators, access is available via Songyan Avenue (opposite the CTV Building).

For those taking the bus, there are several routes including 202, 204, Taipei Main Station-Zhongxiao, Taipei Main Station-Chengde, and so forth, with a total of 16 bus routes stopping at 4 bus stops in the Taipei Dome area—Citizen Guangfu Rd. Intersection, Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall Station (Guangfu), MRT Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall Station (Zhongxiao), and United Daily News. Bus frequency will be increased accordingly.

Free shuttle bus services will also be provided by Farglory Dome Co. at various locations such as Songshan Station, Taipei 101/World Trade Center, Songshan Airport, Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT Station, Gongguan MRT Station, and Taipei Main Station, a total of 6 free shuttle bus routes circulating to the Taipei Dome area (Zhongxiao East Road Section 4 and Guangfu South Road) every 15 to 30 minutes, with additional trips added based on crowd demand before and after the event.

For visitors from other cities/counties, they can take the High Speed Rail(HSR) or train to Taipei Main Station, Songshan Station, or Nangang Station, and then transfer to MRT, shuttle buses, or public buses to reach Taipei Dome. 

Temporary Parking Area on Guangfu South Road for Visitors; Taxi Pickup Area at Taipei Dome East Side B1

To ensure smooth traffic flow, parking will be prohibited at certain sections of Zhongxiao East Road Section 4 (Yixian Road-Guangfu Road) and surrounding areas of the Taipei Dome. If temporary parking is needed, please proceed to the small vehicle parking area on the east side of Guangfu South Road (Civic Boulevard-Zhongxiao Road) for drop-off and pick-up. Police will increase enforcement against illegal parking.

Parking fee at the Taipei Dome is NTD$60 per hour for cars and NTD$20 per entry for motorcycles. Entrances are available at Zhongxiao East Road-Yixian Road intersection and Yanchang Road.

Although Taipei Dome provides underground parking, spaces are limited. Given the convenience of nearby MRT, shuttle buses, and public buses, event organizers offer a NTD$20 subsidy for MRT passengers. Please maintain the good habit of taking the MRT or bus to ensure timely arrival.
