Agreement made not to increase bus fare at the Taipei City and New Taipei City bus fare negotiation committee meeting
The Department of Transportation of Taipei City Government and the corresponding department of New Taipei City Government held the 2nd committee meeting about the “negotiation on the bus transportation cost pricing, bus fare, and the shared ratios and subsidy for the price difference in Taipei City and New Taipei City” on April 23, 2016. Since the amount of increased bus transportation price in Taipei City and New Taipei City was less than 1 dollar, therefore, agreement was made at the meeting not to increase the bus fare in the two cities.
