Lane 83, Section 1, Roosevelt Road, Zhongzheng District of Taipei City was formerly a two-way road. Based on local residents’ requirements, it is recommended that the road be converted to a southbound one-way road to facilitate access. The survey carried out by Xinying Village Office shows that a majority of the residents are in favor of converting the two-way road to a southbound one-way road. Taipei City Traffic Engineering Office (“TEO”) shall adjust the relevant traffic control facilities accordingly.
TEO said that the adjustment to the traffic flow shall be completed by November 23, 2015 (to be postponed in case of rain), with the relevant facilities to be implemented after that. TEO also appeals to drivers to abide by the road signs (markings) to ensure traffic smoothness and safety in the lanes and alleys.
