Blossom Season Bus and Recreational Bus will provide transportation service during 2013 Yangmingshan Blossom Season and Calla Blossom Season

Considering there will a huge crowd traveling to Yangmingshan to see blossoming flowers this year (12 February – 28 April), three bus companies including Metropolitan Transport Corporation, Danan Bus Company and San Chung Bus Company will operate the Blossom Season Bus and Recreational Bus. The daily bus routes are Yangmingshan Area Bus 130 (Yangmingshan 2nd Car Park – Yangming Bookstore), Bus 130 (Flower Clock – Metropolitan Transport Corporation Bus 260 main station) and Bus 131 (Yangmingshan 2nd Car Park – Bamboo Lake). The holiday bus routes are Bus 126 going from the Central Business District to Yangmingshan (Taipei Railway Station - Yangmingshan 2nd Car Park), Bus 127 (MRT Jiantan Station - Yangmingshan 2nd Car Park), Bus 128 (MRT Shipai Station - Yangmingshan 2nd Car Park) and Bus 129 (MRT Beitou Station - Yangmingshan 2nd Car Park). Only Bus 126 charges two-phase fare that other buses only charge one-phase fare. Please see the attachment for the bus routes and transfer information during the Yangmingshan Blossom Season. Visitors are encouraged to travel by the buses described above to avoid traffic jam and the problem in finding parking lots.
According to the Taipei City Public Transportation Office, Buses 126, 127, 128, 129, 130 (including bus from CBD) and 131 will depart every 30 minutes during the Chinese New Year Holiday (12-17 February), and during 12-14 February, the service hour of the last bus will be one hour earlier. Bus companies are requested to be flexible in scheduling buses and postponing the bus service hour. People please be aware of relevant bus schedule and service hour. To encourage people to travel public transportation to the Yangmingshan, passengers who travel to the Yangmingshan by Taipei City buses using the MRT Cards during 12 February to 28 April, and transfer to Bus 130 (including bus from CBD), Bus 131 and Bus 108 (including bus from CBD) within one hour will have 50% discount of bus fare.
To serve people with difficulty in walking, the Taipei City Public Transportation Office arranged Bus 260 Flower Clock Bus to serve tourists from the Taipei Railway Station to the Flower Clock. There will be large special transportation minibuses (6 barrier-free seats) and low-floor buses (2 barrier-free seats) running on this route on a fixed schedule. There will be small special transportation minibuses operating from the Flower Clock to Erziping (stop by Yangming Bookstore). The Taipei City Barrier-Free Taxi will also be available; booking is accepted by making a phone call to the Taipei Star Taxi Company on 412-8333, or to the Taipei City Public Transportation Office on toll free 0800-055850 (press 3 after your call is answered).
