Enjoying 5% off by Third Party Payment to Pay Taipei City’s Parking and Cash Rewards by Credit Card
Taipei City Parking Management Development Office announced an event of 5% off on parking fee payment by third party payment from January 1st to June 30th 2016. After the launch of this event, the third party payment usage rate has clearly risen. Now the office works together with “Pi Mobile Wallet” of Pi Mobile Technology Group and “allPay Mobile Electronic Payment” of allPay Electronic Payment Corporation to continuously launch the event of cash rewards by credit card. Therefore, the user can enjoy cash rewards as long as using the downloaded third party payment app to pay parking fees.
The office mentioned that after the launch of the third party payment to parking fees, people can simply use cellphones to pay their parking, which is both convenient and money-saving. In order to promote more people to use this method, the two cooperated corporations further released credit card cash rewards campaigns in “Pi Mobile Wallet,” and Taishin International Bank released the “Get the Rewards as Much as You Paid” campaign with the exclusive 3000 members and the maximum of NT$ 100 rewards per person, and E.SUN Commercial Bank had NT$ 50 Credit card rewards campaigns with the exclusive 3000 members to attract customers. Also, “allPay Mobile Electronic Payment” provided instant NT$ 50 rewards by binding VISA cards to them, and Taishin International Bank announced NT$ 50 rewards by every 50 times credit card transaction for the exclusive 2000 members.
The office indicated that the time required to complete the parking payment transaction by third party payment only takes about 5 seconds. To explain the paying procedure, people have to first download the third party payment apps, choose one of the credit card company, scan the second line of the parking invoice paper to register for membership and proceed to the next by steps, and finally pay the parking fee. Alternatively, users can set up an account with their own car license number so that the app will automatically notify the users to pay the required payment.
