How do I find out that the taximeter on the cab works properly?
Taximeter on cabs is a legal mechanical or electronic weight and management device. Authorization, inspection, spot checks on metering products and taximeter reviews are conducted by the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection. Qualified taximeters will be stamped with “approval,” plus a seal printed with term of validity. Using these criteria, passengers can verify the validity of the taximeter.
