1. EasyCards will not be inactivated when used on the Taipei Joint Bus Systems. 2. When traveling on public buses (with 4-digit number designations), the fares are metered and charged accordingly. Passengers need to scan their EasyCards when boarding and alighting to pay the fare. If they forget to scan their cards when boarding and alighting, their EasyCards will be inactivated when they travel on the bus the next time. They need to contact the bus company for the cards to be reactivated, or call the EasyCard Corporation at 0800-028880. 3. Passengers who travel on public buses with an inactivated EasyCard can take buses belonging to the Taipei Joint Bus Systems or the MRT. Traveling is not affected.
