If a towed vehicle is not retrieved within 5 days after the due day, the tow pound will document relevant information and send it together with ticket to the Police Department Traffic Division and the Parking Management and Development office. After finding out the data of the vehicle owner, the vehicle owner will be notified to retrieve the vehicle before the specified date via registered mail. If the vehicle is still not retrieved one month after the specified date, we will make an announcement to auction the vehicle by the tow pound after three months according to Article 85-3 of the Road Traffic Management and Punishment Act. Otherwise, after we confirm the vehicle data and send the license plate and relevant date to the vehicle supervision office for cancelling the vehicle registration, the car will be disassembled as scrap.
