Why are motorcycles parked at an arcade or sidewalk ticketed for illegal parking?
According to Sub-section 9, Article 56(1) of the Road Traffic Management and Punishment Act, motorcycle parking is prohibited along road sections where signs such as "no-parking zone for motorcycle" or “no motorcycles in arcade or on sidewalk” are erected. Violators are ticketed.
