Traffic assistants enforce the law and report illegal parking strictly and impartially. In addition, they avoid issuing tickets to vehicles parked where the parking restriction lines or signs are unclear, so as to prevent complaints. If the driver of the illegally-parked vehicle is on the scene, the traffic assistant will instruct the driver to move the vehicle first and issue the ticket only after the driver fails to heed the instruction. If citizens discover unjust or selective law enforcement at any places or time, the location should be reported to us immediately, and we will dispatch personnel on duty in support of regulations.
