If my license plate is to be cancelled because the vehicle inspection due date has expired, how is the cancellation date determined?

If you do not have your vehicle inspected on time and do not pay the ticket issued by the monitoring authority for inspection being 7 months late or more, our Office will issue the adjudication notice to you in accordance with the law (Section 1, Article 9 of the Act Governing the Punishment of Violation of Road Traffic Regulations) and deliver the notice in accordance with the law (Articles 68 to 91 of the Administrative Procedures Law). If you fail to respond before the deadline designated in the adjudication, your license plate will be cancelled in accordance with the law (Article 17 of the Act Governing the Punishment of Violation of Road Traffic Regulations). If the deadline is exceeded by more than 6 months and the license plate is to be cancelled, the effective date of the cancellation of the license plate shall be the inspection overdue record date following delivery of the adjudication issued by our Office.
