According to Articles 168 and 169 of the Traffic Signals Markings Installation Regulations: “Lines where parking is prohibited (including temporary parking) are used to indicate road sections where parking (including temporary parking) is strictly prohibited.” Therefore, “No-parking” (including temporary parking) road sections are traffic-controlled areas, and shouldn’t be defined by spaces surrounding both sides of the “No Parking” (including temporary parking) zone. The Ministry of Transportation and Communication has also clearly stated in its governmental bulletin, 0940006793, on the scope of “No Parking” (including temporary parking) zone. Parking (including temporary parking) is prohibited on areas surrounding both sides of the “No Parking” lines.
