In accordance with MOTC policy promoting diversified taxis, as of the end of 2022, a total of 11 companies had over 14,000 taxis on the road serving customers by providing better and more diverse transportation services. In addition, from July 9, 2022, some of Taipei’s public parking lots began granting 2 hour parking fee exemptions for taxis between 11am and 1pm.
