Taipei City works with the Highway Bureau, MOTC, to promote incentive measures that encourage senior drivers to return their driver’s license. Besides providing free gifts (such as dishwashing liquid), temporary counters have been set up in the city’s 12 District Offices, as well as providing collection services at public operated parking lots and the counter of the Traffic Adjudication Office. Moreover, driving license return (or renewal) services are provided where the elderly gather on an irregular basis.
