Taipei City Traffic Engineering Office continued to work on Taipei City’s Overhead Cable Clearing Project for roads wider than 15 meters, using the “micro-trenching” method to avoid widespread damage to the road surface. Cable clearing was completed at 70 locations in 2022, bringing the total to 991 locations so far. Cable clearing work will continue in the future to improve the city’s landscape and allow Taipei to enjoy a clear skyline once more.
