In 2022, the Department continued to provide subsidies for safe driving training fees for scooters in the hopes of ensuring all participants have the ability to use their scooters safely. Participants are also entitled to preferential programs for vouchers from shared vehicle operators for riding bonus and hours, gift with purchase from electric scooter vendors and free parking for a month in Taipei City. In 2022, 3,181 people qualified for the subsidies.
